Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various client requirements and designing tailored software solutions to meet those needs. The role includes coding and testing multiple components of application software, ensuring that each element functions seamlessly within the broader system. Additionally, the position requires ongoing maintenance and enhancement of existing applications to improve performance and address any issues. Collaboration with different stakeholders to understand evolving project demands and delivering reliable software solutions is a key part of daily activities, fostering continuous improvement and client satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities:
– Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
– Responsible for team decisions.
– Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
– Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
– Lead the coordination of project tasks to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
– Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills.
– Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to align project goals and resolve challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills:
– Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
– Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices in custom software engineering.
– Experience in designing scalable and maintainable software components for manufacturing environments.
– Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues efficiently.
– Familiarity with integration of manufacturing execution systems with other enterprise applications.
– Skilled in performance optimization and code quality assurance techniques.

Additional Information:
– The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
– This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
– A 15 years full time education is required.
